Clara Bouley had four assists and Julia Pando had 17 saves as host Seminole (25-0) downed Winter Springs 16-3 in the semi-finals of the District 1 Tournament on April 1.
Sophomore Carolyn Naruta had 6 goals, Freshman Abigail Coleman added five goals and Laura Trujillo had two goals and three assists in the victory.
With the win, the Noles advance to play Lake Mary on April 3 at 3pm.
The state’s top-ranked Seminole beat Lake Mary on March 12 in their regular-season match up 11-7. On the season, the Noles have outscored opponents 347-132, while Lake Mary has a 295-97 advantage on its way to a 19-3 record.
Ethan Pierson had 14 saves as the Seminole boys downed Winter Springs 18-1 in the District semi-final.
With the win, the Noles advance to play Lake Mary on April 3 at 4 pm.
The Seminoles (17-8) beat Lake Mary on March 12 in their regular-season match up 15-5. On the season, the Noles have outscored opponents 356-208, while Lake Mary has a 325-217 advantage on its way to a 14-8 record.
