As a new procedure for the 2026-2027 school year, Seminole High School now has an Athletic Financial Contribution (AFC) that is required of all students participating in any extracurricular school activity through the Athletics Office. The contribution for this is $25 per student, per school year. The contribution will be paid through Athletic Clearance and must be completed before clearance can be submitted to participate.
Important items to know regarding the contribution include:
- This is a one-time contribution (per year) regardless of the number of sports a student participates in.
- The contribution is for the Athletic Department, not for the team.
- The team may still have their own cost to participate.
- Paying the contribution in no way guarantees or implies playing time or the lack of, nor does it imply the making of a team or roster.
- Once the season (try-outs & practice) starts, or if a student becomes ineligible for extracurricular sports, quits or is removed from the team, the contribution is non-refundable.
