Soremi leads way with 2 titles, boys take second
PALM COAST – Senior Oludoyin Soremi laid down two blistering performance in the 100 and 200-meter finals to help lead the Seminoles to the Girls District track title at FlaglerPalm Coast High School. She was also part of the district champion 4×100-meter relay team. Sidney Allen (long jump), Dara Soremi (triple jump) and Sarai Simpson (shot) all won district titles for the Noles.
For the boys, Seminole’s Amari Turner led the way with individual titles in the 100- and 200-meters. The Noles also won district titles in the 4×100 and 4×400-meter relays.
Seminole now heads to Jacksonville for the FHSAA Regional track meet on May 5.
