Boy weightlifters down Winter Springs

The  Boys Weightlifting team took on Winter Springs in traditional and Olympic style lifts winning in traditional style lifts 50-33 and a narrow defeat in Olympic style lifts 37-31 as the Seminole Celebrated Senior Night.

In the 119 class, Luis Ojeda placed 1st in Olympic & 2nd in traditional. Deegan Batista placed 3rd in traditional: In the 129 class, Solomon Hicks placed 1st in traditional; In the 139 class, Said Djalilov placed 2nd in traditional. Nathan McGinley placed 2nd in Olympic & 3rd in traditional; In the 154 class, Lordvictor Maldonado placed 1st in traditional. Javien Thames placed 3rd in Olympic; In the 169 class, Kyler Carroll placed 3rd in Olympic. Jacob Rivera placed 3rd in traditional; In the 183 class, Omari Griffin placed 2nd in traditional. Rodney Grant placed 2nd in Olympic and 3rd in traditional ; In the 199 class, Roberto Castillo Jr. placed 1st in traditional. Kamerin Collins placed 3rd in traditional; In the 219 class, David Parks placed 1st in Olympic and 2nd in traditional. Marshawn Taylor placed 1st in traditional; In the 238 class, Terrence Thompson Jr. placed 1st in Olympic and 1st in Traditional; In the Unlimited weight class, Jadon Blake placed 1st in Olympic and 1st in traditional.  Ashaad Bakhsh placed 2nd in traditional and 2nd in Olympic.
