Busy week for teams

Boys Soccer, Basketball and girls soccer, basketball all win.

As we get back into the swing of things, it’s been a busy few days for all of our Athletics programs at Seminole.

As break was wrapping up, boys basketball headed to Lakeland where the came away with three wins in the Holiday Hoops Tournament. Seminole downed host Lakeland 53-50 to bring home the championship. To make the final, the Noles got a 68-64 win over Victory Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL) and a 74-45 victory over Lake Region High School.

Seminole headed to Jacksonville where they downed Westside High School 82-48 in the Bernard Wilkes Tournament  at Ribault High School.


On Jan 8, the Noles lost to St Cloud 69-58 at home.

Boys Soccer

On Jan 6, boys soccer downed Mount Dora 4-0.
Alex Martinez scored all 4 goals in the win.

On Jan 8, the JV Noles downed Hagerty 1-0 while the varsity dropped close one 1-0 to the visiting Huskies.

Girls Soccer

On Jan 7, the Seminoles dropped Eustis in a rematch from earlier in the season 3-0.

Girls Basketball

The Noles Varsity and JV took down visiting Mainland on Jan. 7.

Varsity led by Hazel Gonzalez with 18 points won 58-45.

Xylia Rosario had 17 points and Keke Parker contributed 14 points in the win.

The girls have an in-school game on Thursday Jan 9. Tip off 1pm.
