ALTAMONTE SPRINGS – Behind winning both the varsity and JV 4×100 boys’ relays, Seminole won the Charlie Harris Relays at Lake Brantley High School on March 15.
Seminole finished with 62 points, just ahead of second pace West Orange at 57.
The varsity boys 4×100 and 4×400 Relays of Nazsir Givens, James Cox, Deon Butler, Trarell Beckford, Jlen Chaplin, and Kelsie Holmes ran their fastest times of the season.
Matt Pruitt, Lucas Wells and William Heilman set Personal Bests in the 1600
On the girls side, Seminole finished in third with 55 points, behind meet winner and host Lake Brantley.
The Noles girls got wins in both the varsity and JV 4×100 meter relays, the 4×400 and the shuttle hurdle relay. Seminole speedster Imani Reid ran in all four relays for the Seminoles.
Reid, Natalia Voltaire, Dara Soremi, and Shelsy Burgos won the 4×100 Relay. Burgos, and Soremi combined with Vanessa Clark-Lowery and Amirah Nock to run their fastest ime of the season to win the 4×400 Relay.
