Flag football, boys lacrosse, softball all win

It was a banner night for several Seminole teams as Softball took down Timber Creek in a run-rule game 9-1. Flag football kicked off its season with a 8-6 win over Lake Mary and Boys Lacrosse took down highly ranked Boone in a 4-3 win.

SOFTBALL WINS: Seminole opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to two singles. The Noles got on the board when Mary Long singled, scoring one run.

Ava Hertz homered to left field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the third for Seminoles and the route was on.

Alexandra Steffano earned the win for the Seminole as she gave up three hits and no runs over four innings, striking out three.

Seminole collected 13 hits in the game. Madie Baker went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Noles. Hertz, Molly Green, and Marlana Winbush each drove in two runs for Seminole.

BOYS LACROSSE WINS: Noles took down highly ranked Boone 4-3 handing the Braves their first loss of the season behind a strong defensive performance from Ethan Shellenberger who had an 85% save rate on 17 saves. Robert Delaney scored 3 and Dylan White gave also scored in the win.
