Noles shine at Florida relays

GAINESVILLE – The Seminole Track Teams had great meets this past weekend.  At the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Chris Ross has the number 1 High Jump in 4A with his 2nd place finish.

Sidney Allen has the 3rd best jump in 4A with her second place finish in the Long Jump.

Sidney teamed with Dara Soremi, Shelsy Bugos, and Imani Reid to finish 4th in the 4×100 Relay with a seasonal best ranking them 3rd in class 4A.

DAYTONA BEACH – At Embry-Riddle, the Noles again had personal best in many events.  Chris Ross again won the High Jump.  Frank Hicks won the 110 Hurdles and 4th in the 400 Hurdles.  Kaleem Richardson ran .  Alvin Moore was 4th in the Pole Vault and 7th in the 100 Hurdles.Kelsie Holmes finished 4th in the 100 with a personal best time.  In the 800, Matthew Pruitt was 2nd and Oscar Loredo 4th in season best times.

Deon Butler was 2nd, Marquis Streater 4th and Machi Williams 6th in the Triple Jump, all in season best performances.  Jayden Gabriel was 7th in the Discus with a personal best throw.Roberto Castillo was 7th in the Javelin with a personal best effort.

In the Girls competition, In the 1600 Maria Lozado Carrillo was 4th in the 1600.  Amirah Nock 6th in the 200 with a personal time and second in the long jump.Alicyn White won the Triple Jump with a personal best jump.  The 4x 800 Relay of Rhianna Traveras, Maddy Coffee, Savannah Heilman and Elizabeth Prudot was 4th in a season best time.
