OVIEDO – Madison Ehmke shot an 83 (T5) to lead the Seminoles to a 5th place finish in the Districts at Twin Rivers. Ehmke advances to Regionals in Gainesville, which will be played at Hawkstone Country Club on Nov. 4
Girls Weight Lifting
The Seminole girls’ weightlifting team opened its season with a 45-31 win over Lake Mary on Oct 29.
The Seminoles turned in a dominant performance across several weight classes, with Naeil Janvier, Jaela Ellington, Jaye Brewer, Madison Wilson, and Shauna Chambers each lifting more than 200 pounds.
Senior Julianna Mertin set a new school record in the bench press, lifting 145 pounds to highlight Seminole’s strong start.
