Seminole baseball falls to Ocala Forest

Braxton Price was 2-for-3 with a triple and 1 RBI, but it wasn’t enough as Seminole fell  12-7 to Ocala Forest. Marshall Grim got touched up early, after giving up 8 runs in the first two innings, the bullpen of Brody Rimes, Manny Rodriguez and Ethan Farrington settled things down. “We just couldn’t work out of the hole,” said Seminole coach Danny Light. “Offensively we had 7 hits and 5 stolen bases with lots of other hard hit balls that their defense made some really nice plays.”

Jaime Collazo was 1-for-3 with 2 RBI in the loss.

Tennis wins, loses

Week 2 of the Nole’s tennis season was mixed, with both teams winning against Lyman and both losing to Lake Mary.

For the girl’s Freshman Chloe Moo scored her first varsity win against Lyman as Seminole won 5-2. The boys defeated Lyman 6-1. This was followed on Wednesday with Both Boy’s and Girl’s teams being shut out by Lake Mary.
