ALTAMONTE SPRINGS – Behind four swimmers scoring in the 50 freestyle, the Seminole boys came home with a second place finish at the Lake Brantley Invitational.
“The boys finished in 2nd five points ahead of swimming powerhouse Winter Park,” said Seminole coach Ryan Ackerson. “That is a major improvement from their 5th place finish last year.”
Ethan Pierson, Timmy Samples, Iurie Cojocaru, Luke Jongsma swam 3:24.88 good for 4th place in the 400 freestyle relay to seal the team’s second place finish
The girls finished in 7th in a hard-fought meet without top swimmer Morganne Young.
