Seminole girls 1st, boys 2nd at Winter Park

WINTER PARK – Dara Soremi led the Seminole girls to the Wildcat Open championship on March 1.

Soremi set a personal best in winning the 200m, a personal best in the Triple Jump and finished second in the 100 to help the Noles earn 119 points  to second-place finisher Hagety’s 103.

Sidney Allen set a personal best in winning the 100 and also won the Long Jump.

Shelly Butgos et a personal best in winning the 400 and also won the High Jump and finished 6th in the 100.

Alicyn White finished 5th in the Triple Jump and 6th in the 200.

Imani Reid Finished second in both the 100 and 400 Hurdles in personal best times.

Vanessa Lowerly finished 4th in the 400 and Amirah Nock finished 8th as well as 3rd in the Long Jump.

Savannah Heilman finshed 4th in the 800 and Maddy Coffee 8th.

Natalia Voltaire finished 6th in the 400 Hurdles in a personal best time and 8th in the Long jump.

The Boys Team finished second to West Orange.

Frank Hicks set a personal best in winning the 110 HURDLE and finished third in the 400 Hurdles.

James Cox rand a personal best in both the 110 and 400 Hurdles finishing second in both races.

Trarell Beckford won both the 100 and 200.

Nazsir Givens finish third in the 100 and second in the 400.

Jlen Chaplin finished 4th in the 100 in a personal best time.

Kelsie Holmes finished 7th in the 200.

Alex Plummer finished 8th in the 800

Lucas Wells and Roman Bugos finished 7th and 8th in the 1600.

Oscar Loredo finished 2nd in the Freshman/Sophomore 1600 in a personal best time.

Alvin Moore finished 3rd in the Long Jump.

Marquis Streater finished 3rd in the Triple Jump and 6th in the Long Jump, both in personal

best performances.

Micha Williams finished 4th in the Triple Jump and Deon Butler 5th.

Chris Ross won the High Jump.

Javon Kendrick was 6th in the Discus.

Jacob Cuthbert was 7th in the Javelin with a personal best throw.
