Seminole rules the pool

If it’s a sport played in the water, Seminole rules the pool this year and made history April 10.

Both the boys and girls water polo teams won District titles making it a clean sweep for the Seminoles this year in the water and the first time in school history all four District titles belong to the Noles. Both boys and girls swim teams won their respective District Titles in the fall.

After a bit of back and forth to start the game, the Seminole girls won their third straight District title downing Lake Brantley 16-8.

Vivian Swain added to her nation-leading 92 assists with 6 assists and 2 steals in the win which sends Seminole into the Regional Quarterfinals on April 14.

Halle Zimlich added 3 assists, and 3 steals and goalie Julia Pando had 7 saves.

The boys won their second straight district title downing Lake Mary, 15-7 advancing to the Regional Quarterfinals April 15

Timmy Samples led the Seminoles with 6 assists and 2 steals, Adam Walker had 2 assists, and 3 steals

Regional Tournament is at Seminole April 14-17, the Seminoles are currently the top ranked team in both the boys and girl’s region.
