After two overtimes and five rounds of penalty kicks, goalkeeper Nate Farrow made the decisive save as the Seminole boys soccer team defeated Spruce Creek to win the FHSAA 7A District 2A championship on Jan. 27.
With the victory, Seminole advances to the regional quarterfinals and will face a to-be-announced opponent on Feb. 6.
The Seminole girls completed the sweep later in the night when Tatiana Ford scored on a free kick early in the second half, lifting Seminole to its second consecutive district championship.
