Softball falls to Apopka, Flag football wins

Seminole could not keep pace, falling to visiting Apopka Varsity Blue Darters 5–3 on Tuesday.

A single by Sydney Bartkin put Apopka on the board in the top of the first inning. The Blue Darters added another run in the third when Riley Ford singled to center field on an 0-2 count, extending the lead to 3–0.

Maggie Long took the loss for Seminole, pitching seven innings and allowing five runs (three earned) on 10 hits. She struck out seven and walked five.

Brooklynne Farran provided power in the middle of the lineup and led Seminole with two RBIs, finishing 2-for-3 at the plate.

Flag football

Host Seminole took care of Colonial 7-6 in OT on Feb 17.

Boys Lacrosse

The Seminoles fell on the road to Timber Creek 8-5. The Noles had goals by Jacob Cannone, Robert Delany and Parker Saben.

Boys weightlifting

Seminole Boys Weightlifting downed Lyman traditional style lifts 41-34. 

Luis Ojeda, Omari Griffin, and Said Djalilov placed first in traditional style lifts in their weight classes. 

TJ Thompson and Javien Thames placed 1st in Olympic and Traditional in their weight classes.
