The Seminole boys edged visiting South Lake 61-60 on Dec. 2. Juan Tomlinson led the Noles with 18 points, two assists and three rebounds. Tristen Payton added 16 points, two rebounds and two assists.
At the Winter Park Rotary Tournament the next night, James Daniels scored 23 points and Jayden Aristile added 12, but Seminole fell 70-53 to Osceola. The Noles bounced back on Dec. 4 with a 40-37 win over Boone, with Daniels leading the way again with 16 points.
Soccer
Hunter Leining scored the lone goal on an assist from Owen Liptai as the Seminole boys defeated visiting Lake Howell 1-0 on Dec. 1. On the girls side, Seminole beat visiting Lyman 2-0 on Dec. 2. The next night, visiting Timber Creek topped the Seminole girls 5-0.

WINTER SPRINGS — The Seminole girls placed sixth at the SAC Scuffle on Dec. 4. Maddex Yohn won her division. Other place-winners for the Noles were Juelz Roman (third), Chaim Coats (third), Jayvian Jeannette (third), Sofia Urdanetu (third), Akela Martin (third) and Addison Antonowicz (second).
