Boys basketball wins on overtime
Josiah Shackelford scored 23 points as Seminole downed Boone 63-55 in overtime at the Winter Park Tip-off Classic on Nov. 29. Dequan Ross added 12 points in the win.
The Noles will play Dr. Phillips on Dec 1 at 6:30pm in the Tip-Off Classic.
Boys soccer gets a pair of wins
JoJo Wheeler had a hattrick to lead the Seminole varsity to an 8-1 win over Seabreeze.
Youssef Faid, Alex Martinez, Dyland Rivera, Nayim Yilmaz and Migiel Perez each added goals in the win.
The JV boys also picked up a 4-1 over Seabreeze.
Wrestling opens season at Seminole Scuffle
Heavyweight Anthony Chervenkov and 113 pounder Adrian Franklin both won their respected weight classes at the Seminole Scuffle Tournament heald at Hagerty High School. Justin Creech at 120 and Roberto Castillo at 190 both took second. On the girls side, Chaunti Clark (190) took second for the Seminoles.
