Boys water polo, softball win big, Tennis downs Eustis

Iurie Cojocaru and Timmy Samples each had three assists and Adam Walker added six goals to lead Seminole to a 17-5 win over Lake Howell in the FHSAA Regional quarterfinals on April 9.
Seminole hosts Oviedo April 10 at 6 pm for a spot in the Regional finals.

SOFTBALL: Seminole stops Oviedo 7-2

Ava Matthews and Olivia Burkshire had a pair of hits to lead the visiting Seminoles over the Lions 7-2 on April 9. Anne Long and Alexandra Steffano each had a two RBI in the road win.

Long picked up the win allowing five hits with seven strikeouts.

Tennis downs Eustis on Senior night

On a day honoring seniors Pranav Eada, Shreyes Gagganapally, Lauryn Thomas and Ananya Vishwakarma, both Noles tennis teams overcame two feisty teams from Eustis. The districts start April 15 at Sanlando Park. Matches start at 8am.
