Quartback David Parks scored on a 14-yard touchdown run with 2:09 left to give Seminole a 35-28 win over visiting Wekiva to wrap up the Spring season for the ‘Noles.
Parks was 9 of 13 for 170 yards through the air with touchdown passes of 45 and 47 yards to Justin Rosado in the second quarter. Rosado caught 4 passes for 142 yards.
Preston Watson had a first-quarter interception that set up Seminole’s first touchdown. He had a pair of sacks in the fourth quarter. Junior-to-be Jovan Peterson and senior-to-be Jacob Cuthbert each had a pair of sacks.
Seminole opens the 2023 season at home against Edgewater on August 18. Game time is 7pm.
