WINTER SPRINGS – Led by William Heilman, the Seminole boys finished 3rd as a team in the Winter Springs Invitational at Central Winds Park with 135 points. Hagerty won the meet with 42.
Heilman cover the some times muddy and hilly course in 16:50.6 to finish 5th. Jadan Prudot (17:58.1) was 25th followed by Tyler Clarke-Lowery (18:14.2) in 30th for the Noles.
The girls didn’t have a team score for the meet runners out because of injury and illness. Olivia Gamboa (23:49.9) was 75th and Ellie Pereira (29:49.3) was 156th.

VOLLEYBALL: Seminole sweeps host Lyman
Seminole girls varsity finished off the sweep of Lyman with a 3-set win (25-12, 25-20, 25-14) on Sept. 2.
The freshman won (2-1), JV won (2-0).
The Seminoles have their first home match of the year on Sept 9 when Winter Springs comes to Sanford.
