Young leads girls at state meet

Morganne Young lead the Seminole girls at the state swim meet in Ocala

OCALA – Morganne Young led the Seminole girls to a 12th place finish at the FHSAA state swim meet on Nov. 10.

The senior took home a ninth place in the Girls 100 Yard Backstroke with a 57.77 and a 12th place in the 100 yard butterfly (56.94). Young was also part of the Noles fifth place Girls 200 Yard Freestyle Relay (Lindsey Annunziato, Young, Vivian Swain, and Halle Zimlich)

And the eighth place Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay in 1:51.59 22 (Samara Metcalfe, Annunziato, Young and Swain).

The Seminole Boys finished in 23rd with 18 points.

Boys 200 Yard Freestyle Relay finshed in 10th with a 10 1:27.25 14  (Camden Bates, Sebastian Robledo, Samples, Timothy Samples and , Iurie Cojocaru)

While the boys 400 Yard Freestyle Relay finished in 15th with a 3:18.18 4 (Adam Walker, Adam, Robledo, Ethan Pierson, and Luke Jongsma)
