Heilmans lead Nole runners; volleyball, boys golf fall

BUNNEL –  William Heilman’s 3rd place finished led the Seminole boys to a fourth place finish at the Spikes and Spurs Meet on Aug 23 at the Flagler County Fairgrounds.

Tyler Clarke-Lowery , Giovany Rodriguez, Jadan Prudot, and Brady Clark all medaled for the Seminoles.

Savannah Heilman led the girls to a 13 finish followed by Olivia Gamboa in 47th.

VOLLEYBALL

Lake Howell defeated Seminole in straight sets – 25-21, 25-22, 25-21 on Aug 19.

The Noles were led by Freshman Mckaylah Mattis with 7 kills and 7 digs and Freshman Lia Hufford with 7 kills and 9 digs.

The Noles are on the road Aug 26 at the Academy of Central Florida in a match that was originally scheduled for home.

BOYS GOLF

LONGWOOD – Paul Capraro shot a 37 to lead Seminole in a 171-160 loss to Lake Brantley on Aug 21.
Tommy Walker (41) Adam Walker (46) and Braxton Price ( 47.) helped the Noles in the lodd.
