The host Noles showed a lot of promise as the season got underway Feb 12 at home against Oviedo. Losing 17-4 in the varsity game, and 11-1 in the JV contest.
Down 2-0 to start the varsity game, the Noles bounced back to tie with just under two minutes left in the first quarter. The Noles kept the game tight until the midway point of the second quarter when Oviedo jumped out to a 5-2 lead.
Seminole closed the gap a bit at the 6:23 mark scoring to cut Oviedo’s lead to 7-3.
Olivia Spinkle, Amaya Cadman and Abby Bennett all scored for the varsity in the loss.
Risheeta Madireddi scored the lone goal for JV.
Seminole has a varsity only match-up Feb 15 when they host Lake Howell
